The Best Country Music
Sugarland – Live On The Inside ABC Special
For all of the Sugarland fans that want to get a closer look at the band, you can watch the band perform on their ABC Special August 3rd, and then have a chance to buy the DVD the next day at Wal-Mart.
Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush have had a run of hits lately, and when the band has played this Summer, they have had sold out shows. Jennifer did have to cancel and postpone some concerts because of throat problems and exhaustion, but this is what happens when you become a top selling country act.
Jennifer Nettles Enjoying Her Success
It is not hard to see that talented country singer Jennifer Nettles is enjoying her success alongside fellow Sugarland member Kristian Bush. The bands current hit – It Happens – has been on the charts for awhile, and while many people know her from Sugarland, the History of Jennifer Nettles shows that the Georgia native has paid her dues in the Country Music industry, and is well deserved of all of the good fortune that has come her way.
Having the ability to have fun on stage is not something that all performers seem to be able to do, but when you see Jennifer on stage, it is obvious the girl enjoys what she does, and wants her audience to have as much fun as she is. To stay up with the talented country songwriter, and with her band Sugarland as they go on tour, you can go to the official Jennifer Nettles Website.
Sugarland Having a Sweet Time
Things are going well these days for singer Jennifer Nettles and guitarist Kristian Bush, after their performance on the ACM Awards last week, and the Oprah show this week, the band has been nominated for the Duo of the Year, and for Video of the Year by Country Music Television for their award show scheduled for June 17.
Sugarland has a long Summer ahead of touring that includes joining Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban as supporting acts for their concerts, and getting fans to buy tickets should not be a problem for the band from Georgia, as it seems that whenever they release a new song it makes it into the Country Top 20, like the current hit single – It Happen’s.
Jennifer Nettles was just listed on People’s magazine best dressed list, and was part of a posing party after the ACM show with the rest of the artist, and is really making a name for herself in the Entertainment Industry.

You Tube took down that video – so here is Sugarland doing a cover of the – Kings Of Leon hit song – Sex On Fire……..
Country Music and Oprah Winfrey Special
The popularity of Country music has been growing steadily, and now it seems the current generation of new artists have made their way into the pop charts, so naturally the biggest names in entertainment want to associate themselves with the top country songwriters and performers. Oprah Winfrey has always been a supporter of country music, and now she has dedicated a one hour show to the country music industry.
The show is expected to have some great behind the scenes video of the performers as they get ready for shows, or are just hanging around. The artists that are on the show will be Sugarland and Darius Rucker, who have already confirmed this on their websites, and also Kenny Chesney and Carrie Underwood. The stars will be doing interviews with Oprah, and are also expected to perform some of their hit songs.
The Country Music and Oprah Special will be aired April 14, and you can check for the time of the show to air in your area by visiting the Oprah Winfrey Local Listings webpage…………….

Another Look At The Grammy’s For Country Performers
Country Music had a large showing at the 2009 Grammy’s, and came away with the Best Album of the Year in “Raising Sand” from Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. Here is a look at who played @ The Staples Center……Keith Urban spent his time on the Grammy’s backing up legend Al Green and pop favorite Justin Timberlake, he also sat in on a jam session with Blues master B.B. King.
Carrie Underwood came out with “Last Name”, which is a bit of a rocker for the country sweetheart. Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus joined together for an acoustic version of “Fifteen” as her band stood quietly below the stage and backed up the duo.
Kenny Chesney was alone and was spotlighted for his singing of “Better as a Memory”, and country favorites Sugarland had the stage all to themselves for “Stay”. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss decided to do a medley of “Gone, Gone, Gone” and” “Please Read The Letter” with T-Bone Burnett on Guitar.
Here is a video and the lyrics of the Grammy Award winning song “Please Read The Letter”……………..
Caught out running
With just a little too much to hide
Maybe baby
Everything’s gonna turn out fine
Please read the letter
I nailed it to your door
It’s crazy how it all turned out
We needed so much more
Once I put beside you a well of many words
My house was full of rings and
Charms and pretty birds
Please understand me
My walls came falling down
There’s nothing here that’s left for you
But check with lost and found
Ahhhhhhhh…………
Please read the letter that I wrote
Please read the letter that I wrote
Please read the letter that I wrote
One more song, just before we go
Remember baby
You gonna reap
Just what you sow
Please read my letter
And promise me you’ll keep
The secrets and the memories
We cherish in the deep
Please read the letter
I nailed it to your door
It’s Crazy how it all turned out
We needed so much more
Please read the letter that I wrote
Please read the letter that I wrote
Please read the letter that I wrote
Please read the letter that I wrote
Please read the letter that I wrote
Please read the letter that I wrote
