With the release of her new video for the the top country hit – Strange – already jumping into the CMT.com Top 10 for music videos, Reba McEntire has once again shown her ability to produce fan pleasing music. The release date for the new album – Keep On Loving You is scheduled for August 18, 2009, and you can watch the countdown for the latest album on her Reba.com website.
Reba will be performing July 12 as part of the first ever Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada. There is a large country music following in what is known as the – Great White North – to Canadians, and you can check out all the available tickets for sale for the concert series by going to the CavendishBeachMusic.com official website. Also scheduled to perform is Tim Mcgraw as part of the three day festival.

Girls Night Out at the 2009 ACM Awards
For the music fans that watched the 2009 ACM Awards show, and did not know the top country artists, were rewarded with the best of the best in modern country music. After an opening medley of top performers, Reba McEntire took over as The Master of Ceromonies, and once again did a skillful job of telling jokes and keeping the show moving, later on she sang her new song – Strange, that seemed to be a hit with the audience.
As the awards were being given out, it was obvious that the girls of country have made a large impact on the awards show, Taylor Swift was part of a magic trick, played the piano and guitar, and helped start the show in the eight performer opener, by the way she also won Album of the Year for Fearless.
Carrie Underwood won the big prize as Entertainer of the Year, and also captured the Top Female Singer of the Year. Carrie’s rendition of I Told You So, was almost overshadowed by her enormous Russet Ballgown.
Jennifer Nettles shined throughout the night when the talented singer was asked to perform three times, and also won the Top Vocal Duo as part of Sugarland.
Julianne Hough was named as the Top New Female Vocalist. Leann Rimes was awarded the Home Depot Humanitarian Award in recognition of “all the time and effort and passion she devotes to many charitable organizations.”

Reba McEntire To Debut “Strange” in Las Vegas
Reba McEntire will be singing her new single “Strange” in Las Vegas at the ACM awards on April 5. Reba also is the Master of Ceremonies for the star studded event, and will have to juggle her duties as M.C. and Performer. The release of her new album is not expected to late summer, but once you hear Strange, you can understand why Reba did not waste her time in getting it out, and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on ACM Award night is about as perfect an outlet to perform a new song.
The Academy has released some early winners, and has named the
Brad Paisley Video – Waiting On A Women, that he had done with Andy Griffith, as the Country Video of the Year award winner, and also that the Brad Paisley and Keith Urban duet that they performed together – Start A Band, won the Vocal Event of the Year award.
Reba McEntire’s Music will be coming from a different label, she recently signed with The Valory Music Company, the sister label to Big Machine Records, and they will be releasing her new album in the summer.
