Tim McGraw Is Not Slowing Down

If you think that one of the all time selling country songwriters is slowing down you can forget about it. Tim Mcgraw already has a top country song in 2010 with Southern Voice and he will be touring in support of the hit album thruout the whole year that will be making stops in Canada and all parts of the United States.

Being married to Faith Hill and having three daughters to worry about would seem to be enough to slow down his career to a halt, but the man has endless energy, and with his latest movie The Blind Side that he did with Sandra Bullock being so popular, has led to another acting roll that has him performing in Love Don’t Let Me Down a movie with Gwyneth Paltrow that has already started filming this past week in Nashville.

You can see Tim McGraw on Valentine’s Day Feb. 14 as part of the Daytona 500 prestart special. Tim has always been a NASCAR fan and you know he will enjoy being there as a performer.

Tim McGraw – It’s A Business Doing Pleasure With You

Tim McGraw has another top country song with his currrent single – It’s a Business Doing Pleasure With You, and the singer knows all about doing business and pleasure. Tim is scheduled to do a movie with actress Sandra Bullock that will be released in November 2009, and a Trailer for The Blind Side has been circulating around the internet for those who are interested.

On July 26th the singer was playing a show in Paso Robles, California when he noticed that a man was abusing a girl in the audience and stopped until security escorted the man out of the arena, that is Tim McGraw taking care of business.

August 22-23 the country songwriter will be helping out the Halfway to Hazard Charity Trail Ride in the hills of Eastern Kentucky when he will joining other country artists raise money for the Buckhorn Children’s and Family Center in Crockettsville, Ky.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Join Neil Diamond Tribute

Grammy winner Faith Hill and husband Tim McGraw will be part of a group of musicians in a concert Feb. 6, that will be honoring Neil Diamond as the 2009 MusiCares Person of the Year.
Jimmy Kimmel will be in charge of the festivities, which will also include silent auction and a full reception. MusiCares was was first started in 1989 by the Recording Academy whom also oversees the annual Grammy Awards ceremony.

The Academy is honoring Diamond for his musical achievements and charitywork. Diamond recently made large contributions to help relief efforts in Texas for areas affected by Hurricane Ike.

MusiCares is a foundation that ensures those who are currently, or have in the past, in the music industry have a place to turn in times of money, health and personal need. Previously announced performers include Raul Malo, the Jonas Brothers, Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Josh Groban and Jennifer Hudson. Neil Diamond will also perform at the event.

Women Rock eBay For The Cure

An auction to raise money for cancer issues starts today at 5pm CT on eBay.

The online auction will run until October 3rd and includes items signed by Taylor Swift, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Faith Hill, Avril Lavigne and many more.

The auction is being held in association with the “Women Rock For The Cure” concert taking place on October 2nd and will raise money for cancer issues.

Taylor Swift has autographed a Kate Spade purse and matching clutch. Garth Brooks is personalizing a CD package for the highest bidder. Little Big Town applied the band’s names to a pair of Tony Lama boots.

Signed guitars are also being donated by Keith Urban, Jewel, Emily West, Rachel Proctor and Jessi Alexander. Other items are being auctioned off from Sarah McLachlan, Faith Hill and Avril Lavigne.

Faith Hill Singing Sunday Night Football Theme

Faith Hill is singing the opening theme for NBCs Sunday Night Football again. Her performance of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” will debut on September 7th during the first regular season Sunday Night Football broadcast featuring the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears.

Additionally, Hill will also participate in a preseason promotional campaign to begin Sunday August 3rd during the Pro Football Hall of Fame game between the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins.

The first promo depicts NFL players preparing game-time snacks for Hill and her girlfriends. The cast includes Dwight Freeney and Bob Sanders of the Colts, Tony Gonzalez of the Kansas City Chiefs, Torry Holt of the St. Louis Rams and Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens.
