Clay Walker Keeps Making Great Music
It looks as if Clay Walker may have another big time country hit with his current single She Won’t Be Lonely Long. The song has been getting a lot of airtime on the country stations and has the type of melody that is very catchy, and at the same time tells a story that many music fans can relate to.
Clay Walker has been writing top country songs ever since his first two #1 hits in 1993, What’s It To You and Live Until I Die, and he has continued to produce hits.
If you go to Wikipedia to view the Clay Walker history you will find out that
in 1996, Walker was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), a disease which affects the central nervous system. He manages his MS through daily injections of Copaxone. He has also participated in several forms of charity to help fight MS; most notably, his own non-profit charity, Band Against MS. He regularly competes in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am; in 2005, his team won the tournament, and Walker donated his share of the winnings to Band Against MS. Walker performs for health care professionals and their families at least once a year free of charge. Walker’s last performance of this kind was May 29, 2009
You can catch him on the road as he plans to be at many of the local festivals thruout the U.S. that happen in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Clay does plan on releasing a new album in 2010 and should have the momentum of his new hit song She Won’t Be Lonely Long to help the sales.
Clay and his wife Jessica recently had their second child together, daughter Mary Elizabeth, and she will be the sister of her brother William, who was born in 2008. He has two other children from his first marriage.
