Luke Bryan Is Doin’ His Thing

Luke Bryan released the second album of his country singing career, and Doin’ My Thing has sold plenty of copies since it’s October 6th debut, check out the top 20 country song chart and you will see the first single – Do I – has already hit a chord with country fans for the songwriter.

The 11 song CD has reached the #2 top country album chart this month behind Fearless – the Taylor Swift album, and the Georgia native has been getting good reviews about the music and his singing, something he was hoping to showcase on Doin’ My Thing.

Luke Bryan is on a long tour of many stages across the North America in support of the new album, and having at least one top 10 country song will only help ticket sales.

There will be plenty of chances for members of the Luke Bryan fan club to Meet and Greet the performer as he likes to take pictures and talk to all of his supporters.

Sarah Buxton – Is It Her Turn?

There are plenty of talented singers and songwriters in the country music industry, and when they seem to have all of the right things come together they get to shine.

When will Sarah Buxton get her turn? If you have heard the music she has produced you can see the talent shine through, and the singles have plenty of hooks and melodies, and Sarah’s voice is as pretty as a songbird when needed, so why has she not broken through yet?

Carrie Underwood Running From The Cowboy Casanova’s

Top country singer Carrie Underwood has always been able to produce a hit since she first came onto the seen as an American Idol winner, and her latest song – Cowboy Casanova is no exception.

The video is scheduled to be released on October 2nd as part of a large music video coming out party Weekend on CMT, and there is much anticipation as to who the Casanova might be in the three minute movie…….

As usual Carrie Underwood has been busy lately with appearances at the 2nd annual ACM Honors Award show in Nashville, and she also had the Itunes release of Cowboy Casanova come out this week. The much anticipated release of her new album Play On will be available to purchase on November 3rd, and the first reviews of the CD have been very good, so expect more top country songs from the Grammy Award winning singer.

How Do You Feel About What Kanye West Did To Taylor Swift

When Country Sweetheart Taylor Swift won her award for the Best Female Video at the MTV Video Awards, little could she have known that halfway thru her acceptance speech Kanye West would take the microphone out of her hand and say that even though she had made a good video for “You Belong To Me”, that Beyonce should have won the award.

Taylor was visibly shaken and many of the attendees starting booing Kanye for his stupid behavior. Beyonce was gracious enough to have the award winner come back out and get her well deserved applause for winning the award.

Brad Paisley Gets Seven Nominations For The Country Music Association Awards

The Country Music Association has nominated Brad Paisley seven times for the upcoming CMA Awards Show on Nov. 11 in Nashville at the Sommet Center on the ABC Television Network.

All of the big names in country music have been nominated, and as expected Taylor Swift, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban have multiple nominations in different categories.

The Zac Brown Band has been nominated five times, and is expected to perform at the show, as well as most of the other nominees.

If you want to go to the awards show, tickets go on sale September 19th for the 43rd CMA Awards, and usually sell out very fast.
