Brantley Gilbert Is A Survivor
After nearly dying in a truck accident when he was nineteen, Gilbert Brantley took the experience as a sign, and it was what propelled him forward to his music career. Being at the wheel of his truck while drunk was not a good idea, yet he survived and written some great music for himself and for other country performers like Jason Aldean.
His current album Halfway To Heaven was first released from The Average Joe’s label before he decided to leave them and join The Valory Music Company. His website at Big Machine Records (the mother company of valory music) has plenty of information for anyone who wants to stay up with the latest happenings of the Georgia native.
Surviving the accident helped him create some true and heartfelt lyrics that come thru strong on the recordings from Halfway To Heaven. The first single to find the charts was – Country Must Be Country Wide, and it become a gold certified #1 top country song on the chart from Nov. 26th, 2011.
The latest track to make the airwaves is – You Don’t Know Her Like I Do and it sounds like the country/rocker has another hit on his hands. The lyrics talk about a relationship that has ended, but it takes time for the hearbreak to go away, more so when the person you are leaving has become your best friend and it feels like a family member has passed away.
Gilbert Brantley survived the accident for a reason, and the music he has produced comes from someone who knows that he is lucky to be alive, and wants others to know how precious life is.
