No matter how you look at Taylor Swift there is no denying the fact that millions of her fans cannot wait for the release of her new album “Speak Now” on October 25th, 2010.

One of the singles has been leaked out early so the singer had no choice but to release it before it’s intended date. Here is a link to Taylor’s new song “Mine” that you can download from Itunes for a small fee of course.

Taylor Swift has redone her website for the upcoming release and it may look a little different if you have not been there in a while.

She is scheduled to be at some of the biggest events in the next two months such as SEPT. 1st ABC (TV) – CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, SEPT. 9th – NBC (TV) NFL Kickoff – Vikings @ Saints, and the SEPT. 12th – MTV (TV) MTV Video Music Awards (Nomination). Having one of the top selling albums of all time in pop and country music with “Fearless” has firmly put her as one of the top music acts, and has the twenty year old being the top act wherever she performs.

She has stirred up the County music world and we have a poll below asking if you think she is the best thing to happen to country music or really just a pop singer pretending to be a country performer.

The first single to be released from the new album from Hemingway’s Whiskey has found it’s way into the Top 20 Country Songs chart. Boys Of Fall is a nostalgic look at football, and Kenny Chesney is paying his respect to one of America’s favorite sports.

College football and the N.F.L. are getting ready for the 2010 season and the timing has been just about perfect for the release of Boys Of Fall. Kenny Chesney has been a songwriting machine since he wrote his first #1 song She’s Got It All in 1997 and you can expect to see more hits from the latest album from Kenny when it is released Sepember 28th.

One of country music’s best performers has taken it easy this year as far as playing in front of his fans in the country’s largest stadiums. He has said in interviews that he needed to take it easy from the non-stop touring to replenish his soul and recharge the batteries. Not that you can not still him this year, in fact he has some casual type acoustic guitar shows scheduled for 2010, and you can go to his website for information on the show dates.

With the release the new CD you can expect to see more of Kenny on the usual Websites and TV shows as he will be slowly promoting the new music.

After twenty years the country duo of Brooks and Dunn are going to go their seperate ways when the touring of 2010 ends. It was nice of CBS to help put together a special that had the top selling performers in country music get a chance to sing and play some of their favorite Brooks & Dunn songs.

Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn had some success before they joined forces, but they will be known as one of the all time selling country duo’s ever.

We have put together a poll of some of their record toping songs and then some. You can pick any three songs as one of your favorites. There are some hard choices here, but it makes it more fun that way.

After all of the success of Taylor Swift this year, we thought we should give you a chance to vote for your favorite Female Country Singer of 2009. There are a lot of choices, but it came down to these women.

You can choose any two of your favorite performers since after much consideration it became obvious that many will choose Taylor, and we want this poll to be more than a one-sided decision.

Jennifer Nettles had a great year with Sugarland, Carrie Underwood had another #1 song with Cowboy Casanova. Reba has a strong following, Miranda had another hit this year, and Leann Rimes had a somewhat controversial year, but also has her own loyal following and could not be left out.

So here you have six of the top female country performers of 2009. Go ahead and vote, or just comeback and keep checking out the results, maybe we will have to do one for the men when this one is done.

When Country Sweetheart Taylor Swift won her award for the Best Female Video at the MTV Video Awards, little could she have known that halfway thru her acceptance speech Kanye West would take the microphone out of her hand and say that even though she had made a good video for “You Belong To Me”, that Beyonce should have won the award.

Taylor was visibly shaken and many of the attendees starting booing Kanye for his stupid behavior. Beyonce was gracious enough to have the award winner come back out and get her well deserved applause for winning the award.
