Kevin Costner Releases Country Album
Kevin Costner and his band Modern West are releasing a country album called “Unknown Truths” on November 11th.
The album will be released on Universal Republic / Universal Records South and all the tracks on the album were either written or co-written by Costner.
Costner met musician John Coinman back in the 1980′s during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. They formed a band called Roving Roy but as Costner’s acting career took off he was unable to give the band his full attention.
Costner and Modern West are set to start touring later this year to help promote the album.
Sugarland Cancels Shows
Sugarland had to cancel three concerts from it’s “Love On The Inside” tour over the weekend due to Jennifer Nettles having throat and sinus problems.
Performances in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania, West Springfield Massachusetts and Gilford New Hampshire were cancelled and no new dates have yet been announced.
A show in Ames Iowa on October 2nd has also been postponed by the band.
The tour which kicked off on September 13th in Asheville, North Carolina includes special guests Kellie Pickler and Ashton Shepherd.
The tour is currently scheduled to wind down November 16th.
Dierks Bentley Will Soon Be Daddy Dierks
It won’t be long now until Dierks Bentley becomes a dad. Bentley and his wife, Cassidy, are preparing for the arrival of their first baby.
Dierks has known Cassidy since high school and the couple got married in 2006. They currently both live in Nashville, Tennessee with their dogs George and Jake (who has appeared in some of Dierks videos).
Dierks said, “Some friends of mine threw a baby — I wouldn’t use the word ‘shower,’ ‘cause dudes don’t go to showers — but like a baby celebration-party kind of thing”.
For now, Dierks is turning up his cellphone ringer high so he can respond instantly when the time comes!

The new album, “Kellie Pickler” will be released on BNA Records on September 30th.
Her Sophomore album includes a re-recorded version of “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You”, which was originally featured on her 2006 debut album, “Small Town Girl”.
